Stan is the owner of a local newspaper. He is a no-nonsense type guy and enjoys interviewing people.
History[]
Horizontal Pilot Command[]
Stan, along with the other newsies, Rick and Noah, go to the Pilot Command contest to interview various people and discover who the undercover Apple Corps. officer is. He participates in several card battles using his pilot rubbernecker. He uses his printing press ability often to assist his fellow party members in cheating. Stan never gets caught. In the end, they discover that Charles is the Apple Corps. officer and Stan takes a picture of her with his phone and uploads it to Gonkle so she can't destroy it like she did the other cameras. He and a large group of others get taken by Bliss Ocean at the end of the episode.
Executive Grin Contest[]
While Stan wasn't in the episode, Rick implies that the newsies escaped from Bliss Ocean with him through the sewers.
Exquisite Drunken Candymaker[]
Sometime before the episode, Stan, Sylvie, Abbot Arbuckle, and Dan Gansley tried to infiltrate Bliss Ocean Headquarters together, but they couldn't beat Zora and were captured. They were kept in holding cells where Skip watched them. The party finds Stan, and uses his saxophone playing skills to boost the mood in Ramsey's date with Charles. Afterwards, Stan leaves, and he and Rick promise to meet up again on karaoke night.
Annihilate Adjustable Flaw[]
Stan was in the epilogue/credits sequence. His epilogue was: Stan Goldstein won the 2018 xgames, winning the coveted gold skateboard. He donated it to the relief efforts for Puerto Rico. Donate, kids, they still don't have power.
Abilities[]
Stan has many abilities, all based around new reporting. He has a printing press ability that can be used once per round. It allows him to alter what something says on it. He uses it often in the card game tournament.
Fun Facts[]
- Stan's epilogue is referring to the relief efforts towards Puerto Rico after it was hit by hurricane Maria.
